Whether you're decorating a laptop, water bottle, or car bumper, proper application makes all the difference between a sticker that looks amazing and one that peels off after a week.
Start with a clean, dry surface. Use rubbing alcohol or a mild soap solution to remove any dust, oil, or residue. Let it dry completely before applying your sticker. Even a tiny speck of dust can cause a bubble.
Peel the backing off slowly at an angle. Position one edge of the sticker first, then gradually press down across the surface. Work from the center outward to push air bubbles toward the edges.
Use a credit card or squeegee to firmly press the sticker down, working from the center to the edges. For curved surfaces, use a heat gun or hair dryer on low to make the vinyl more pliable.
